Opening Night (under construction!!!)
Bern 2024
Opening Night is part of the Street-Portraits Project, documenting what people wear in public across various settings, including bathers at Marzili, attendees of the Buskers Festival, and skiers in Grindelwald. The project delves into clothing choices and their significance in shaping individual and collective identities, illustrating how the ritual of dressing up reflects our ancestral need for belonging and defines our social groups. Opening Night, a cooperation with Bühnen Bern, focuses on capturing the attire of the public attending theater and concert performances, aiming to showcase diversity across different age groups and social backgrounds. The project also serves as a stage for the public, allowing participants to step into the spotlight and showcase the stories hidden in their concert attire.
